This is my 3D recreation of the legendary Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean. I focused on achieving both accuracy and a cinematic presentation, balancing stylized detail with realistic textures.
The ship was modeled in Maya, sculpted details refined in ZBrush, and textured in Substance Painter with 4K maps to capture the weathered wood, aged sails, and metal accents. Final renders were created in Marmoset Toolbag and Unreal Engine, experimenting with different lighting setups for a dramatic night-time look.
My main goal for this project was to push my skills in hard-surface modeling, UV mapping, and PBR texturing, while also learning how to present large-scale assets in a game-ready pipeline.
